Professional Goals

I created this poster using an education template on Canva. I was drawn to the characters because they look like me, especially the three on the top boxes! :) The complementary colours are light yellow for optimism and dark blue for trust. The font names are "Montserrat" for the main title and "Now" for all the text.

Questions for feedback:

1. Do you think the reference section at the bottom fits the overall visual appeal of the poster? Should I change it in any way, or create a link to the references instead?

2. Do you think that the focused subgoals support my overall professional goal? Can I add further clarity or refine them?

Feel free to comment on the goals and overall poster design. I appreciate your feedback!

Great job on your infographic, Sarah :) To answer your questions I think you could add further examples of how you will like to do that if that's possible. It is great the way it is but, it may put your ideas into perspective.

I think perhaps a soft colour on the back would be better than white :) Just a thought :) I know our instructor has mentioned to not be afraid of white space but, I think it might compliment better if there was a bit of soft colour on the background. :)

I think your infographic is great. It inspired me to add an overall goal to mine, thank you.

I like your colour choices, the rationale makes sense to me. I enjoy that the images incorporate those colours and hues as well. Perhaps consider shortening the title and making it bold, it will make it pop out more. Otherwise, I think you have identified some important goals.

  3. The overall goal, and quote at the bottom are a nice touch. Your sub-goals definitely support your overall goal. Because you don't want to add too much text to an infographic, I think it would be hard to add more detail.

The references look ok where you've got them. I'm amazed that you've managed to include them and still have a final product that isn't too cramped. I think it would be ok if you removed the references and just added them into your blog.

    Hello Sarah,

Great choice of color, it pops well on the white background. For the references, I would add it as a separate text in your blog post instead of your infographic. Right now, it doesn't feel like it belongs there (though I understand why you added it). I like the overall goal that you added at the top! I think the subgoals compliment it very well. The quote at the end is great, I would maybe not have it connected with the subgoals if possible. It works both ways, but I feel like it should stand out on its own.
I really enjoyed your infographic, really thought out!
